Apple Price Target Raised to $135 from Mizuho Securities

Mizuho Securities Analyst Abhey Lamba moves his price target on AAPL higher from $130 to $135, as he mentions that there’s upside to near term earnings/sales and lifetime value per customer.

The analyst reaffirms some data points coming out of the January quarter:

Management guided second quarter revenues of $51.5-53.5bn (+2-6% Y/Y) implying growth for a second consecutive qtr, vs. consensus of $54bn. Outlook includes Y/Y FX headwind of ~$1.2bn. For gross margin, outlook of 38-39% (including Q/Q currency impact of 80bps) was in-line with estimates.

Abhey Lamba estimates revenue of $52.7 billion and EPS of $1.98 for Q2’17. The figures more or less correspond with much of what’s been mentioned by other analysts, which diminishes expectation risk going into the next quarter.
